This is why it is necessary to check the organisation regularly to improve quality, quantity and the effectivity of the organisation. This requires huge effort, flexibility and involvement from entrepreneurs.

From this point of view entrepreneurs from Tilburg and the vicinity have gathered. From these gatherings it was understood that more structural gatherings were required. This is why the informal gatherings where shaped into an association to only expand into more existing informal discussion platforms of entrepreneurs

Tannet (Turkish Academic Network) is a network of highly educated Turkish- Dutch persons. Tannet aims to ,with help of the expertise of the “thinkers”, give the Dutch people of Turkish origin and other foreigners a clear voice and face also to steer developments in the Dutch community from a scientific and on facts based view. It wants to contribute to the society. In other words, it does not want to be a spectator but another player in the field.

Is an association which contributes to Higher education in the Netherlands by acting as an effective promoter and intermediary. It does this by actively supporting the cooperation between the Netherlands and Turkey in the field of Higher education, supporting and supplying the direct cooperation between institutes of Higher Education in both countries (including the introduction and exchange of professors) and reqruiting highly talented Turkish students to continue their study in the Netherlands or to start scientific research avticities in the Netherlands.
